With the wedding season truly upon us and being a perfect time for engagements, some of you are getting used to that new sparkly ring on your finger! But now what?
To the newly engaged couple, planning a wedding can be the most stressful yet most exciting times in life, it can be a mix of different emotions but to others, wedding planning can be a nightmare. To avoid the stress, we have made a quick guide to making the whole process fun and easy.
Set your budget
Sit down with your partner and talk through ideas together including your budget for the wedding. One of the most important things to think about when planning a wedding is how much you can afford to spend. Discuss how formal or informal, big or small you would like your wedding to be.
Find your wedding venue
The next exciting thing to look for is the perfect place for your wedding. Whether you will be marrying on a beach, garden, church or perhaps somewhere else, sometimes the choice and availability of the venue drives to the actual date of the wedding.
Set a date and plan your wedding guest list
Once you have set the date, next thing to do is to plan your guest list. You have probably thought about it already in step 1. Presumably, you have agreed on the amount of money to spend on your venue, as you have selected the reception venue you might have a good idea of the size of the wedding party.
Find a wedding dress
This is one of the most fun and exciting parts of the wedding planning process. If you don’t have much time, there are bridal salons that offer a variety of collection. From grooms wear, bridesmaid, ushers, flower girls, to pageboys, other members of the wedding party should also be considered to make sure everything is coordinated.
Hire your vendors
Once you have booked your venue, the next thing you should decide on is the table arrangements, flowers, and decorations. Book a wedding photographer and videographer to capture those precious memories. You should also book a wedding car at this stage, along with the music to keep your guests entertained all through the party. Find a wedding cake that is coordinated to your taste and style.
